Kan dere beskrive dere selv med tre ord?
- Spontaneous, Visionary, Curious
Hva fikk dere til å begynne å designe? Har dere alltid likt å designe eller kom interessen senere?
- We have both always been interested and engaged in creating art as long as we can remember. You could say that we’ve chosen different paths for expressing that creativity, but it’s always the process of creating that’s been important to us. Axel & Berg is our way of combining our biggest passions and qualities together, as one.
Hvordan skiller deres design seg ut fra andre? Noen spesielle kjennetegn?
- Well first of all we work as a team, so there’s a lot of input and reflection that goes into our products. We’re both born in the northern parts of Sweden, surrounded by deep forest and the nordic lights. We believe that this environment has shaped us into who we are today, and that also reflects in our work.
Hvor får dere inspirasjon fra?
- Most of our inspiration we collect on our many trips around the world. It’s the second biggest passion we share. Traveling, meeting new people and surround ourselves with new cultures. “When you put yourself out there, you always return with something new”, that is one of our favorites quotes which you also can find here in one of our posters @nordicdesigncollective.
Har dere noen egne favorittprodukter?
- Right now we have to say our poster collection Nature, which consist of four posters with different quotes around life and what the world has to offer, if you just reach out and grab it.

Har dere noen mål for fremtiden med designen?
- That people appreciate our art and can identify themselves with what we do. And also maybe have a photo exhibition before this year has passed.
Hvorfor ønsker dere å være med på Nordic Design Collective?
- We believe that nordic designers have something unique to share, that is also interesting on an international market, and of course we want to be a part of that!
